FlixBus: About the Importance of Monitoring and Tracing for Autonomy

Eric Heymann is Vice President of Engineering at FlixMobility GmbH, the parent company of FlixBus, a “unique combination of tech startup, e-commerce platform, and sustainable transportation company” that has changed the way more than 100 million people have traveled since launching the FlixBus brand in Germany in 2013. In this 14-minute video, Heymann describes the fast-growing company’s technical and cultural journey towards self-organized and autonomous engineering teams.
